The Thoughtful Christian:
Navigating the Intersection of Faith & Public Policy
Sundays at 11:15 a.m. in the Hospitality Room (next to Sanctuary Narthex)
“The Thoughtful Christian” is a class that facilitates intriguing conversation and deeper Biblical understanding. Due to the overwhelming response we had this past fall on faith and politics, our series this winter will help us in “Navigating the Intersection of Faith and Public Policy.” Each week facilitators will guide the group in intriguing conversation about the assigned topic while respecting the voice of each member of the group. If you’ve wanted to know what our faith might have to say about how we shape public policy, this class is for you. There are no easy answers, but the conversation promises to be lively. The facilitators for this series are Tom Backoff and Dave McClellan. All are welcome.

You are likely familiar with the names of some of the better known women of scripture: Sarah, Leah and Rachel, Ruth and Naomi, Mary the mother of Jesus, and the sisters Mary and Martha. But there are so many women of the bible, in addition to these wonderful foremothers of our faith. Their stories deserve to be told! Join women of the church (and feel free to invite a friend!) as we gather together on six successive Friday mornings for study, discussion, and prayer.
We believe lifelong learning and study is essential to the mature Christian journey. We offer several different Bible studies and other special offerings throughout the year.
