The Power of God at Home

Sundays at 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel

Led by Pastor Lanie Sipes

As people of faith and as parents, we have all struggled at times to root our home lives in faith and to help our children know God’s grace. But what does it take to sense the Holy at work in our families? How do children learn to live out this love? What can parents do to help? In this interactive class we will discuss these questions and many more. Come share your experience of family, talk with us about the significance of nurturing the faith of children at home, and explore ways we can cultivate lessons of love and grace in all moments of our lives!

Faith In the World

Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. in Scott Hall

Led by Pastor Lanie Sipes

Our faith is shaped by our experiences and influences the way we live and see the world. We follow Jesus, who lived in the world, experienced our sufferings and our joys, and walked with us – but he also sought to change the world. Join us every Tuesday morning to look closely at a current event, share our perspective and listen to the views of others, delve into Scripture, and struggle together to discover ways to faithfully live in the world.

Sharing Stories & Seeking Justice

Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.  in the Chapel

Led by Pastor Lanie Sipes

Hear about Lanie’s experience at the 2015 Parliament of the World’s Religions, listen to stories from people around the world, representing various faith traditions, and explore intriguing topics including Faith in Women, Emerging Leaders, Income Inequality, War, Violence, and Hate Speech, Climate Change, and Listening to the Voices of Indigenous Peoples. Come share your story as we seek a deeper understanding of social justice and a more holistic love of our neighbor!
