The Ministry of Music at CPC seeks to enhance the weekly worship services through a diversity of musical styles while always centering our voices, instruments, hearts, souls, and minds on praising God and proclaiming the eternal salvation of our lives through Jesus Christ.  Our artistic expression of faith is multifaceted and is heard in the massive sounds of the Chancel Choir and pipe organ, the sweet singing of the flute, the charm of the harp at Christmas, the power and exhilaration of the Easter and Christmas brass, the soothing ring of the Bell Choir, the heart pounding and joyful shout of the Celebrate singers along with the rhythmic accompaniment of the praise band, and the sweetness and innocence of the children’s choir. May God be blessed!

Chancel Choir 

All are welcome, each Sunday the Chancel Choir performs at the 11:00 a.m. Traditional Service.  Practice is every Thursday evening at 7:15 p.m.

 

All types and styles of choral music are learned and we encourage and welcome new members.  Reading music is not required. We are always welcoming to persons who love to sing. 

Bell Choir
The Bell Choir plays once a month at the traditional service and rehearses on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. The Bell Choir employs the use of hand bells as well as hand chimes and makes use of both basic and advanced bell techniques and literature for designated worship services. 

Any adult interested in this ministry should have some note reading ability and rhythm and coordination is helpful. Any adults interested in this ministry may contact the church office at 419-475-8629.

Celebrate Singers
Our Celebrate Singers sing at our contemporary service. If you are interested in rotating in as a Celebrate Singer, please arrange for an audition with Bobbie Bean, our Contemporary Worship Leader, via e-mail at bbbd@buckeye-express.com

Bobbie Bean
Praise Team Leader

Bobbie Bean provided worship leadership in the Toledo area for over 25 years before coming to CPC to lead our Contemporary Worship Praise Team. She graduated in Music Education from Bowling Green State University and has taken additional Master's courses in Music.  

Children's Choir

Childrens choir practice is after the 11:00 a.m. service every Sunday, in the Sanctuary for 30 minutes.

Instrumental

Do you play the piano or any other musical instrument? Our music department is always eager to hear from you. This could be an excellent opportunity for you to use your musical gifts to serve the Lord here in church. Please contact the church office at 419-475-8629.
